Welcome to the Wharfedale Brewery website. By accessing this website or placing an order through our online shop, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Company Information
Wharfedale Brewery produces handcrafted Yorkshire beers for both retail and wholesale customers throughout the United Kingdom.
Retail Sales
Retail sales made through this website are processed by our sister company Flying Duck Enterprises Ltd, the company which operates our Brewery Tap - The Flying Duck.

2. Ordering
All orders are subject to acceptance and stock availability.
An order confirmation email acknowledges receipt of your order but does not constitute acceptance of your order.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where necessary, including where products are unavailable or where age verification requirements cannot be satisfied.
3. Prices
All prices shown on this website include VAT where applicable unless otherwise stated.
Prices may be amended without prior notice, however confirmed orders will not be affected.
4. Collection
Collection orders are available from:

We are normally closed on Mondays.
Orders are usually available for collection within two working days unless otherwise advised.
Please bring your order confirmation when collecting your order.
5. Delivery
Orders are normally dispatched using DHL or Royal Mail, depending upon the size, weight and destination of your order.
Delivery charges are displayed during checkout.
Delivery times are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed.
Additional delivery charges may apply to the Scottish Highlands, Islands and certain remote postcodes.
Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery.
All deliveries must be signed for in person by an adult aged 18 or over and cannot be left unattended on the property
6. Age Verification
Alcohol may only be purchased by persons aged 18 years or over. 
By placing an order, you solemnly confirm that you are aged 18 years or over.
We operate a strict Challenge 25 policy across all online sales, local deliveries, and click-and-collect orders. If the person receiving a delivery or collecting an order physically appears to be under the age of 25, they will be required to produce valid, recognized photographic identification proving they are 18 or older before the goods will be released.
The only acceptable forms of identification are a valid passport, a UK photocard driving licence, or a proof of age card bearing the official PASS hologram.
For Deliveries: All orders are dispatched via an Adult Signature Required service. Courier drivers act as our authorized licensing proxies. Consignments will not be left in "safe places" or left unattended. If a delivery is refused due to a failure to provide adequate proof of age, the order will be returned to the brewery repository and we reserve the right to retain the original delivery charge to cover courier return fees.
For Collections: When collecting from the brewery premises at The Flying Duck, bar staff will enforce standard Challenge 25 protocols. Goods will be securely held until valid legal ID is produced.
We reserve the right to refuse collection or delivery where satisfactory proof of age cannot be provided.
7. Licensing & Responsible Retailing
Retail alcohol sales made through this website are processed by Flying Duck Enterprises Ltd, the operator of The Flying Duck Brewery Tap.
Orders placed through this website are accepted and processed by Flying Duck Enterprises Ltd.

Collection orders are available only from The Flying Duck Brewery Tap, Church Street, Ilkley.
Delivery orders are fulfilled using DHL or Royal Mail.
We are committed to the responsible retailing of alcohol and operate a Challenge 25 policy for all retail sales.
8. Wholesale Sales & AWRS
Wholesale sales are supplied by Wharfedale Brewery Ltd, an approved wholesaler under the Alcohol Wholesaler Registration Scheme (AWRS).

9. Product Information
Our beers are handcrafted in small batches and slight variations in colour, clarity and flavour may naturally occur.
Product images are for illustration purposes only.
10. Damaged or Incorrect Orders
Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt.
If goods are damaged, missing or incorrect, please notify us within 48 hours by emailing: moc.yrewerbeladefrahw%40ofni
Where appropriate we will arrange a replacement, refund or another suitable remedy.
11. Returns
Due to the nature of alcoholic products we cannot accept returns of unwanted goods unless they are faulty, damaged or supplied incorrectly.
Nothing within these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights.
12. Website Content
Whilst every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of information published on this website, Wharfedale Brewery accepts no liability for typographical errors, omissions or inaccuracies.
We reserve the right to amend product information, prices or website content without prior notice.
13. Intellectual Property
All website content, including text, logos, photographs, graphics and product images, remains the property of Wharfedale Brewery or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced or distributed without prior written permission.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any dispute arising from the use of this website or the purchase of goods shall be be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
