HOW TO FIND US

By Car

If you are travelling to Ilkley by car and need directions please click the directions link in the map above and enter your postcode.

The main pay and display car park is literally across the road from us whilst on street parking is available nearby.

By Rail

Trains run to and from Bradford and Leeds every half an hour. If travelling from Skipton or Keighley change at Shipley. Click here for timetables.

By Bus

On Foot From Ilkley Stations

Upon arrival in Ilkley, turn right out of the main entrance and follow the road around into Brook Street.

At the traffic lights at the bottom of the road turn left into Church Street. Cross the road and walk approximately 250 yards and the Flying Duck will be on your right.

Wharfedale Brewery, housed in a barn at the back of the Flying Duck in Ilkley, is the third brewery to take the Wharfedale name since the orginal one was founded in Wetherby as long ago as 1756. Click here to read the history of one of Yorkshire's oldest exisiting names in the brewing world.

The brewery now predominantly produces beers for the Flying Duck, pubs throughout Wharfedale, a small number of other carefully selected local hostelries, local beer festivals and private party events, where you can rent a cask of your favourite beer.

We also provide groups the opportunity to enjoy a brewery tour, which includes a presentation on on our history, the brewing processes we employ, and the opportunity to sample the beers we have available at the time of your visit.
